Math League 2022

This year the Math League contest will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2022. This will be the LAST contest written as an entire grade in Grade 6 (there will be additional contests, ie: Gauss 7, etc, offered for those interested).

Traditionally, Meadowridge has done an excellent job in this competition, placing top 5 in BC, and even first place in CANADA in recent years (2018). Our Grade 6 students will have access to all past contest through our on-line platform. They are strongly encouraged to practice and prepare as it a great way to review content, critical thinking and CONTEST taking strategies.

There will be some that are assigned to practice and review as a class. I encourage all students to attempt at least 3 (2 with no time limit and 1 with time limit). The questions are doable at the Grade 6 level , but to complete all is very challenging in the 30 minute time frame.
